Description

Location: Hybrid-Remote. The role will require travel, as needed to project locations located in Alexandria & Sterling, VA; Phoenix & Tempe, AZ, and Austin, TX. Minimal travel is anticipated and otherwise role is able to be performed remotely.

Years’ Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in ServiceNow administration

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience.

Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred

Key Skills:

  • Experience planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing all technical tasks related to administration, configuration, and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with relevant ServiceNow scripting/programming languages, including but not limited to Java Script.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing all technical tasks related to administration, configuration, and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform necessary for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 services.
  • Providing software coding and configuration services including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third-party software integrations, and custom application development as needed.
  • Creating and maintaining service catalog items and workflows.
  • Designing and implementing automated workflows to streamline processes.
  • Integrating ServiceNow with other systems and tools.
  • Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
  • Providing training and support to end-users and other administrators.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Creating and maintaining system design and operations documentation.
  • Advising on the impact of any proposed changes to the ServiceNow environment.
  • Providing ServiceNow administration, sustainment, and subject matter expert support.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in ServiceNow administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Will require travel, as needed to project locations which may include the below for installing and maintaining physical equipment (i.g., network firewall, server, storage, uninterruptable power supplies. Minimal travel is anticipated, and majority of support will be remote.

    • Tempe, AZ
    • Phoenix, AZ
  • Has demonstrated hands on experience with ServiceNow administration.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow into other systems and tools.
  • Experience designing and implementing automated workflows.
  • Familiarity with relevant ServiceNow scripting/programming languages, including but not limited to Java Script.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Customer service oriented.
